Robert Capinjola: President & Founder

Robert Capinjola brings TruArx more than 15 years of experience in network security sales, management and consulting. Prior to founding TruArx, Capinjola was a vice president at Internet Security Systems (ISS) where he directed managed security service sales, consulting and implementation teams. He also supervised field operations in the Central United States.

Before ISS, Capinjola was a partner at Netrex Secure Solutions. He helped clients design enterprise and managed security solutions. He also managed the company's Eastern U.S field operations, a team of consultants that delivered security solutions.

Steve Akers: Vice President of Consulting Services

As the Vice President of Consulting at TruArx Inc., Akers is responsible for managing customer and partner relationships, consulting teams, and conducting information security assessments. With more than 12 years experience in information security consulting and management, Akers was an integral developer of the TruArx security life cycle and methodology.

Prior to joining TruArx, Akers was the Director of Deployment Services and Field Support for Internet Security Systems (ISS), where he developed and managed the operational team responsible for the design and deployment of managed security services.

Before ISS, Akers was the Information Security Manager at a large-scale international energy company.

Prior to working in the private sector, Akers also worked in the U.S. Army, Military Police Corp. Special Investigations division. Reporting directly under the Provost Marshall for United States Army Europe, Akers performed monthly security audits of the systems being used by the regional military police offices across Europe.
